HOW TO MAINTAIN YOUR pmp® certification
Understand the PDU Categories
Education PDUs : These are earned through learning opportunities such as courses, webinars, and self-paced learning. Education PDUs are further divided into three areas aligned with the PMI Talent Triangle: Technical Project Management, Leadership, and Strategic and Business Management.
Giving Back PDUs : These are earned through activities that contribute to the profession, such as working as a practitioner, creating content, giving presentations, and volunteering.
Minimum and Maximum PDUs
- You need to earn 60 PDUs over a three-year cycle.
- At least 35 PDUs must come from education, with a minimum of 8 PDUs in each area of the Talent Triangle.
- A maximum of 25 PDUs can be from giving back, with specific limits on certain activities.
